So Danca Ballet Shoes
The So Danca ‘Bliss’ canvas, split-sole ballet slippers, are a perfect no-frills addition to your dance wardrobe. It is So Danca’s (a Brazilian brand) number one selling ballet slipper and is made from stretch canvas that fits the arch of your feet like a glove. It has pre-sewn elastic straps and elastic casing instead of annoying drawstrings. Overall it’s a great technique shoe for all dance genres. Originally, the darkest colour in these shes was ‘Suntan’ which appears online to be a rich brown coffee colour. In reality however – the colour could be described as a ‘dusky camel’ or a ‘latte’ kind of colour (as pictured). It’s suitable for lighter to medium FleshTones, but it is definitely not a chocolate brown colour. More recently, So Danca has added a ‘Mocha’ option to the following ballet shoe options:
- The Brio (SD120)
- The Bali (SD18)
- The Bristol (SD121)
- The Bliss (SD16)
These shoes now all have a ‘Suntan’ and a ‘Mocha’ option. The Mocha is a nice brown colour and suitable for brown to dark skin dancers. Prices start from $22USD.
