Youngblood Brow Artiste

This kit (in ‘Dark’) carries two shades of pressed brow powder, a lightly tinted wax, a dual-ended brow brush and a set of small tweezers. We’ve been using Youngblood Cosmetics for a while – stumbling across them many moons ago and amazingly, finding a mineral foundation in a FleshTone hue, long before mineral makeup was a thing.
Their Brow Artiste kit is also an old favourite and it’s great for beginners. The angled brush in the kit works well for the powder application which follows the wax. The wax application takes some practice to get used too (less is more) – but once mastered, the colours blend and mould perfectly with your brows. The darkest colour in the dark palette is a natural looking dark taupe shade – but don’t be put off by that – it looks far more natural than a jet or grey black.

The Brow Artiste stays on for a decent stretch of time – and works best if you do have some hair on your brows -sparse is better then none at all. Prices start at $40USD so it’s definitely on the pricey end (and it is not necessarily a high end product). The tweezers and brush are cute, but not exactly sturdy, so you may need to byo to this kit.
