Charlotte Tilbury ‘Birkin Brown’
‘Birkin Brown’ by Charlotte Tilbury is kind of like a nude lipstick from the nineties. It’s a muted reddish-cocoa colour and very matte. While it claims to be incredibly hydrating and nourishing with a range of exotic natural extracts – we wouldn’t go that far. It doesn’t, however, overly dry out the lips as some matte lipsticks are prone to do. It glides on easily, is semi build-able and will stay in situ for quite a few hours. This is a great nostalgic nude colour – it will remind you of that time many moons ago when you chanced upon a suitable ‘nude’ lipstick before the big brands started making nude lipsticks for ‘us’. Prices start at $34USD, so it’s at the higher end of the market.
