Made in Japan, Copic markers are loved by artists (particularly Anime artists) who need the long lasting, bold and vibrant colours that this brand offers. The Ciao Skin set is very inky, pigmented, and if you take care of them – will last for an age. The bonus is you can purchase refills for your Copic Skins – which is better for the environment. Suitable for sketching and colouring all kinds of artwork, the Copic Skins are really blendable, low odour and are also alcohol based (so less likely to soak and bleed into paper while blending). The markers are dual nib – both a brush nib and a chisel nib.
They ARE expensive (prices start from $28USD for the Ciao Skins set), but if you are serious about your markers representing a variety of FleshTones (though we think there could be at least one darker marker), then Copic is a go to brand.
