This retelling of “Little Red Riding Hood” is written by Alex T Smith and is set in Africa. The book is warm, funny, witty and energetic. Little Red’s aunty has broken out in spots, and Little Red is the one who must bring her medication. So off she goes through the jungle where she meets a very hungry (and naughty) lion. He’s no match for Little Red though – she outsmarts him and manages to change him for the better.
