Tom Ford ‘So Vain’

Introduced in Fall 2015, ‘So Vain’ is just vanilla-scented gorgeousness in one shade. It’s a berry-mauve colour with a very fine shimmer of gold. It’s a great ‘look at me’ nude for the lips – i.e. it has plenty of colour but will not take away from your eye make up. ‘So Vain’ has a lovely creamy texture, is semi-opaque and can be easily and evenly applied. The staying power on this lipstick is great too – and though it’s not as ‘hydrating’ as some other brands, it won’t dry out your lips. Now for the price. It’s a whopping $53USD for a LIPSTICK. Yes, of course it’s Tom Ford, but this one is definitely for those with money to burn, splurge or treat themselves.
