The Letraset Promarkers Skin Tones ‘2’ are a good alternative to the much more expensive Copic brand. Smooth and consistent, these colours blend well and have a great level of saturation and blending without excessive bleeding. The 6 piece skintone set is somewhat limiting in terms of colour range – there aren’t enough in between colours to build up a nice variety of different ethnicities (there is no blending or shading marker included). The Skin Tones ‘1’ set is for lighter skin tones only. While these aren’t premium level markers, they do an excellent job in the mid-range product offering (though the markers/nibs are not replaceable or refillable). The markers are dual end (with one chisel nib and one fine/bullet nib). Prices start at $25USD.
